How many residential IPs can a country of 3 million provide?

Fewer than a large market, and the number moves through the day. Qatar has about 3 million residents, almost all of them in and around Doha, and two operators: Ooredoo and Vodafone Qatar. Every Qatari residential IP belongs to one of their two networks, AS8781 or AS48728.

That is why MENA Proxies publishes no Qatar IP count and shows live availability in the dashboard instead. For most checks, country targeting is enough: Doha and Al Rayyan form one continuous urban area, and an ad or a price shown in one is almost always shown in the other.

What do teams check from Qatar IPs?

  • Google and social ads aimed at Qatar: a Qatari home IP shows whether a campaign targeted at the country is live, in Arabic and in English, and what a local searcher sees next to it. See ad verification.
  • Prices and delivery on local apps such as Snoonu and Talabat, which quote in QAR and change offers by area.
  • Search results for Qatari queries in Arabic and English, which differ from Dubai results for the same words. See SERP tracking.
  • Website QA for QAR prices and Qatar-only content on travel, telecom and retail sites.

How do I set up a Qatar check?

Use gw.menaproxies.com on port 7777 (HTTP and HTTPS) or 7778 (SOCKS5) with the username USERNAME-country-qa. Each new connection gets a Qatari home IP from the pool, usually a different one. For a flow with several pages, add -session-<id>-ttl-<minutes> to keep one IP for up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier). The getting started guide has code for curl, Python and browsers, and the location check guide shows how to confirm the exit is in Qatar.

What does a Qatari home IP cost per GB?

Qatar costs the same as every other country: $1.88 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB and $50 for 100 GB, as of October 2026, and $0.50/GB from 50 GB. Traffic never expires.

Plans and the payment terms are on the pricing page; the rules by country list the crypto rules for residents.

Qatar residential proxies: questions

Can I target Doha?

Country targeting with country-qa already gives IPs that are almost all in the Doha area, where most people in Qatar live. You can add -city-doha; it works when the pool has IPs online there. For ad and price checks, country targeting is usually enough.

Which network will a Qatari IP be on?

Ooredoo (AS8781) or Vodafone Qatar (AS48728), the only two operators, so a Qatari home IP belongs to one of them. To get one operator, add its ASN to the username, for example USERNAME-country-qa-asn-8781 for Ooredoo, at no extra cost; availability varies, and GET /v1/catalog/countries/QA/asns lists the ASNs you can target.

Is there a Qatar surcharge?

No. MENA Proxies charges one price per GB for every country: $1.88 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB, and $0.50/GB on every plan from 50 GB. One plan can be used across Qatar, the UAE and any other country.

Do I need to send ID?

No. MENA Proxies asks for no ID, no selfie and no documents. Account-number login; email is optional. The Acceptable Use Policy applies to every account, and banking, government and payment sites are blocked.
