## Which networks do UAE residential IPs come from?

Two licensed operators provide nearly all home and mobile internet in the UAE: **e&** (formerly Etisalat) and **du**. A UAE residential IP therefore belongs to one of two autonomous systems, AS5384 for e& or AS15802 for du. You can check this yourself on any IP lookup service: the `org` field should name one of the two operators, not a hosting company.

The UAE has about 11 million residents, most of them in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. Fewer homes mean fewer IPs online at any moment than in a large European market, and the count moves through the day. MENA Proxies does not publish an IP count; the dashboard shows live UAE availability before you pay.

## How do I target Dubai or Abu Dhabi?

Add the country and, if you need it, the city to your proxy username. City IDs are lower case, with `_` instead of spaces. A city works when the pool has home IPs online there; otherwise use country targeting, which covers the whole of the UAE. The [getting started guide](https://menaproxies.com/guides/getting-started/) has the same examples for Python and browsers.

*Dubai, then Abu Dhabi with one IP kept for 20 minutes*

```bash
# Dubai, usually a new home IP on each new connection (each curl run)
curl -x http://USERNAME-country-ae-city-dubai:PASSWORD@gw.menaproxies.com:7777 https://ipinfo.io/json
# Abu Dhabi, the same IP for 20 minutes (session id a7k2)
curl -x http://USERNAME-country-ae-city-abu_dhabi-session-a7k2-ttl-20:PASSWORD@gw.menaproxies.com:7777 https://ipinfo.io/json
```

## What do teams check from UAE IPs?

- **[noon and Amazon.ae prices](https://menaproxies.com/use-cases/gulf-ecommerce-price-monitoring/)** — Prices in AED including 5% VAT, stock, and delivery promises that depend on the delivery area.
- **[Search and social ads](https://menaproxies.com/use-cases/ad-verification/)** — Confirm that campaigns targeted at the UAE, or at one emirate, show in Arabic and English as planned.
- **[Local search results](https://menaproxies.com/use-cases/arabic-serp-tracking/)** — Track Arabic and English rankings for property, travel and retail queries from a UAE home IP.
- **[App and site QA](https://menaproxies.com/use-cases/app-and-website-geo-testing/)** — Test AED pricing, Arabic right-to-left layouts and UAE geo-redirects before a launch.

## What does UAE law say about using a proxy?

UAE law looks at what you do through the IP. **Article 10 of Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021** on combating rumours and cybercrime punishes using a fraudulent or third-party IP address to commit an offence or to hide one, with temporary imprisonment and a fine of AED 500,000 to 2,000,000. The Public Prosecution repeated this warning in December 2024. The offence requires that purpose: the article does not name business uses such as checking public prices or your own ads.

MENA Proxies is written for those business checks. It blocks banking, government and payment-portal sites, plus SMTP (email-sending) ports 25, 465 and 587, and its [Acceptable Use Policy](https://menaproxies.com/acceptable-use/) forbids using the service to break local law. This is not legal advice; the [country-by-country overview](https://menaproxies.com/guides/proxy-laws-middle-east-north-africa/) lists the sources.

## Is MENA Proxies licensed in the UAE?

No. MENA Proxies is operated by ProxyGoat LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (USA); the team has been in the proxy business since 2019, and it sells proxy traffic, not virtual-asset services. You top up a prepaid USD balance with crypto and buy plans from it; MENA Proxies does not exchange, hold or transfer crypto for customers. In the UAE, virtual-asset businesses are licensed by VARA in Dubai, and the Central Bank's 2024 Payment Token Services Regulation covers payment tokens. Check the rules that apply to you before you pay.

## What does a UAE home IP cost per GB?

The UAE costs the same as every other country: $1.88 for 1 GB, $5.94 for 10 GB and $50 for 100 GB, as of October 2026, and $0.50/GB from 50 GB. Traffic never expires. On the same day, Geonode listed $7.92 for 10 GB (monthly plan) and ProxyWing $2.50 for 1 GB; see the [UAE provider comparison](https://menaproxies.com/best/uae-residential-proxies/).

| Plan | Quantity | Price | Price per unit |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Test | 1 GB | $1.88 | $1.88/GB |
| Team | 10 GB | $5.94 | $0.59/GB |
| Business | 100 GB | $50 | $0.50/GB |

In every plan: Protocols: HTTP, HTTPS, SOCKS5 · Targeting: Country and city on every plan; ASN at no extra cost; city availability varies · Sessions: Rotating or sticky (up to 30 minutes) · Authentication: Username and password, or an IP allowlist (up to 10 IPs) · Traffic expiry: Never expires

**Before you pay**

- Minimum top-up $25. Top up once in crypto, then buy any plan from your balance.
- Unused balance stays on your account and never expires, but it is not paid back, except where the law requires it.
- Credited once your payment is checked on the blockchain. Typical network confirmation time: BTC ≈ 20 min · USDT TRC-20 ≈ 1 min · USDT ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · USDC ERC-20 ≈ 5 min · ETH ≈ 5 min · SOL ≈ 1 min · LTC ≈ 15 min

## UAE residential proxies: questions

### Can I get a Dubai IP specifically?

Yes, when the pool has home IPs online in Dubai: add `-city-dubai` after `country-ae` in the username. Dubai is the largest city in the UAE, so it usually has the most IPs, but supply changes through the day. If no Dubai IP is online, `country-ae` alone gives an IP elsewhere in the Emirates.

### Which ISP will my UAE IP belong to?

Almost certainly e& (AS5384) or du (AS15802), the two operators that provide nearly all UAE home broadband. Without ASN targeting, each new connection can come from either network. To get one operator, add its ASN to the username, for example `USERNAME-country-ae-asn-5384` for e&, at no extra cost; availability varies, and `GET /v1/catalog/countries/AE/asns` lists the ASNs you can target.

### Can I pay with USDT on Tron?

Yes. MENA Proxies accepts USDT on TRC-20 (Tron) or ERC-20 (Ethereum), USDC on ERC-20, and BTC, ETH, SOL and LTC. The minimum top-up is $25; the payment page shows the exact amount and network, and the balance is credited after the network confirmations listed on the [pricing page](https://menaproxies.com/pricing/).

### Will noon and Amazon.ae show me UAE prices?

A UAE home IP makes the store treat you as a visitor in the UAE, so you see AED prices, UAE stock and UAE delivery options. Stores can also use cookies, the delivery address and the app version, so set the delivery area the same way each time. Our [price monitoring guide](https://menaproxies.com/use-cases/gulf-ecommerce-price-monitoring/) explains the setup.

### Do you sell static residential proxies for the UAE?

No. MENA Proxies sells rotating residential traffic with sticky sessions of up to 30 minutes (the IP can change earlier), and dedicated mobile ports from $2.63 a day. See [static vs rotating residential proxies in the UAE](https://menaproxies.com/compare/static-vs-rotating-residential-uae/) for which one fits your check.

### How fast are UAE residential IPs?

Speed depends on the home connection behind each IP and on the distance between you, the gateway and the UAE, so MENA Proxies publishes no speed figure. Test with the 1 GB plan on your real targets; if a slow IP blocks a check, a new connection usually gets a new IP.
