One table per question a buyer or analyst asks about residential proxies in the Middle East and North Africa: what they cost, which networks the IPs come from, which rules apply in each country, and what people actually search for. Every row has a source.

**Quick answer — What does the MENA residential proxy market look like in 2026?**

On 13 October 2026, residential proxy list prices for UAE, Saudi and Egyptian IPs ran from about $0.50 to $7.35 per GB between 1 GB and 1 TB, across the 12 providers whose pricing pages we read. Several providers publish a page per MENA country, but the pages we read did not cover local rules on IP use and crypto. Eight of the 17 MENA countries restrict crypto for residents. Data compiled by **MENA Proxies**, free to cite under CC BY 4.0.

## Key figures

- **$0.50–$7.35** Range of list prices per GB, 12 providers, 1 GB to 1 TB (13 October 2026)
- **80+** National internet shutdowns ordered in Iraq over two years (Internet Society Pulse, May 2025)
- **8 of 17** MENA countries that ban or restrict crypto for residents (DZ, EG, MA, QA, KW, IQ, LY, TN)
- **2** Operators behind nearly all UAE home internet: e& and du (AS5384 and AS15802)

## What are the main findings?

1. **Prices fall about fivefold with volume.** The lowest competitor list price in our table was $2.50 for 1 GB (ProxyWing) and $0.50/GB at 1 TB (Geonode, monthly). Minimum purchases, from 1 GB to 50 GB a month, change the real entry cost more than the headline rate.
2. **Country pages are common, local rules are not.** Geonode and Shifter publish a page for each of the 14 countries in this report and Byteful for 13, mostly a price and IP-count template; the pages we read did not cover local rules on IP use and crypto.
3. **IP counts are not comparable.** Claimed Saudi pools range from about 46,000 (ColdProxy) to over 1.2 million (Shifter); one UAE page gives three different counts. No provider publishes a method.
4. **Rules differ at every border.** The [UAE](https://menaproxies.com/residential-proxies/united-arab-emirates/) punishes using another IP address to commit or hide an offence with fines of AED 500,000 to 2,000,000; [Algeria](https://menaproxies.com/residential-proxies/algeria/) bans holding and promoting crypto-assets since July 2025; [Kuwait](https://menaproxies.com/residential-proxies/kuwait/) banned crypto payments in 2023.
5. **Demand is country-first.** People search for a country ("dubai proxy buy", "buy uae residential proxy", "kuwait proxy buy"), not for the region: "residential proxy middle east" returned no suggestions.

## What do people in the region search for?

Google's autocomplete on 13 October 2026 showed country-level buying searches, in English and Arabic:

- **English**: "dubai proxy buy", "buy uae residential proxy", "qatar residential proxy", "buy qatar proxy", "kuwait proxy buy", "egypt proxy buy", "proxy israel buy", "residential proxy morocco".
- **Arabic**: "شراء بروكسي سعودي" (buy a Saudi proxy), "شراء بروكسي مصري" (buy an Egyptian proxy), "بروكسي سكني دوار" (rotating residential proxy).
- **French**: "proxy maroc telecom", "proxy orange maroc".

The regional phrase "residential proxy middle east" returned no suggestion, and "middle east proxy" suggested news topics instead. A large share of suggestions asked for free proxies or personal uses outside the scope of this report. Static residential proxies also appear ("uae static residential proxy"), a product few providers sell for the region.

## How large is crypto use in the region?

Chainalysis' 2025 report on the Middle East and North Africa found that the region's on-chain value received grew 33% year on year, slower than Asia-Pacific (69%) and Latin America (63%). It described the UAE as receiving "upward of $56 billion" over the period, and Israel about $22 billion. In Chainalysis' 2025 global index, Jordan ranked fourth once adjusted for population.

These figures measure on-chain value received, not payments for services; the rules in the table above apply to residents.
